Matthew Del Nevo

Dean, Nisibis Assyrian Theological College.
BA AppSocSci (Lanchester Polytechnic UK), BD (Honours) (USyd, 1991), GradDipEd (ACU, 2001); GradCertMentalHealth (NTI, 2022); PhD (USyd 1996).

Matthew is an alumnus of the University of Sydney.  He is a philosopher who writes about soulfulness in arts, literature, psychology, and wisdom traditions. Matthew is the Dean of Nisibis Assyrian Theological College.  He is also a Research Associate of The Center for Critical Research of Religion (Harvard); and a member of the Christian Literary Studies Group (Oxford).

Outside SCD, Matthew is Research Director of the Gabriel Marcel Institute of Philosophy, Sydney, associated with the Gabriel Marcel Society housed at Rockhurst University (USA). He is the chief editor of The Marcellian, an annual subscription journal published by the Institute.

Matthew has also published in the area of feminism and psychoanalysis with edited translations of books by Lou Andreas-Salomé.
