About this college

Sparrows College is an interdenominational ministry training college, primarily serving the evangelical, charismatic, and pentecostal Christian traditions, for the purpose of equipping ready-to-serve national and international ministry practitioners.

Our mission is to cultivate an interdenominational, intergenerational, and intercultural space for communal learning, personal growth, ministry engagement, and mutual support.

We offer fully funded, face-2-face study options to approved applicants.

Choosing Sparrows College

At Sparrows College we seek not simply to inform people but to see lives transformed. We only deliver in face-2-face mode due to the conviction that this approach provides the most fruitful environment for creating and cultivating a supportive community, where meaningful relationships and transformative learning can take place. We study together, pray and worship together, share meals together, and engage in mission and ministry together.

Our aim is to remove economic barriers for those pursuing God’s call on their life. Through God’s provision, Sparrows College is uniquely positioned to offer fully funded study options to approved applicants. For scholarship recipients, there are no fees. There is no application fee, no tuition fees, no library fees, no student amenities fee, and no graduation fee. Even your graduation regalia hire is provided free of charge. “Fully funded study options” means that there are no fees – ever.

Collaboration is a core value for Sparrows College. We seek the best learning contexts and ministry / vocational opportunities for students / graduates and so create partnerships with churches, denominations and parachurch organisations who likewise value the development of their emerging leaders. We ensure that our students have meaningful, holistic, and healthy ministry / service opportunities.

Sparrows College is a Member Institution of SCD, which provides national and international recognition for the awards we deliver, and oversight and accountability for our academic and administrative processes. Our faculty have SCD accreditation and our learning and teaching practices undergo rigorous review to ensure that our students receive the best possible learning experiences.
