Theological Pedagogy
The unit Theological Pedagogy is designed to expand on the basic pedagogical principles of D8101 Principles of Theological Education to provide a working connection between philosophical principles and practical methods of learning and teaching that are relevant to various contexts and traditions in theological education. It is a Compulsory Unit in the Graduate Certificate in Theological Education.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this unit students will be able to:
- Analyse the teaching styles associated with different philosophical positions of theology and pedagogy
- Identify a variety of learning and teaching methods suited to various aims and needs of theological learning
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to match different learning styles
- Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of their personal teaching styles
- Create effective teaching programs and/or materials using appropriate learning and teaching methods.
