Theological Education Project

The unit Theological Education Project is designed to provide students with an opportunity to apply and evaluate the principles and practices of theological teaching in a specific experiential context pertinent to their own professional setting. It is an Elective Unit in the Graduate Certificate of Theological Education.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this unit students will be able to:

  1. Analyse the distinctive ethos of the professional context of the project
  2. Provide a cogent theoretical and pedagogical rationale for the project
  3. Design and implement a teaching program in their professional context
  4. Evaluate the design and/or the implementation of programs developed by peers
  5. Critically review and develop further their own projected program.
