Learning Outcomes

At the end of this unit students will be able to:

  1. Analyse the significant differences in the roles of chaplains in a range of contexts
  2. Articulate a set of effective principles for managing a team of people helpers (chaplains, case workers, clinicians, managers, administrators and volunteers)
  3. Apply principles for developing the roles of self-differentiation, self-awareness and spirituality within an identified personal or professional context
  4. Develop strategies for facilitating operational efficiency in working within a group of professional people helpers in defined situations
  5. Develop their own plans for professional development as key to their ongoing health, effectiveness and resilience as a professional chaplain.
