Learning Outcomes
At the end of this unit students will be able to:
- articulate a coherent expression of the principles undergirding the effective practice of pastoral supervision
- explain how a deeper pastoral understanding may inform human experiences (e.g., trauma; grief; suffering; mid-life; sin; forgiveness; meaning; etc.)
- critically analyse how such pastoral considerations are manifested in professional supervisory situations
- utilise reflective practice as a means of improving the self-awareness, coping and flourishing of those being pastorally supervised
- apply the principles of pastoral supervision to their current work or ministry situation.
