Learning Outcomes

At the end of this unit students will be able to:

  1. demonstrate a sound knowledge of the major historical and contemporary developments in pneumatology, ecclesiology and eschatology
  2. critically discuss how these theological doctrines are integrated into the life of the church
  3. critically evaluate the theological literature relevant to this unit
  4. analyse the influences currently shaping the church’s understanding of these doctrines
  5. critically apply the results of their study of these doctrines to contemporary pastoral situations
