New Testament Greek II
The unit New Testament Greek II builds on A8122 New Testament Greek I. It consolidates and develops students’ knowledge of New Testament Greek and their ability to translate and exegete Greek texts. It is an elective unit and does not form part of a Specialisation in any specific Discipline.
All A units are not included in the structure of Majors or Sub-majors (UG studies) or in concentration or specialisation (PG studies).

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this unit students will be able to:
- memorize an extensive New Testament Greek vocabulary
- recognize and employ advanced New Testament Greek grammar and syntax
- translate, parse and analyse complex New Testament Greek into English
- use an extensive range of critical New Testament Greek/English lexicons, concordances, and theological dictionaries with facility
- apply the principles of textual criticism to independent translation and interpretation of complex New Testament Greek texts.
