Learning Outcomes

At the end of this unit students will be able to:

  1. construct a biblical and theological and philosophical basis for Christian intercultural mission
  2. explain key historical, cultural, and strategic perspectives related to the practice of intercultural mission
  3. analyse the origins and constructed nature of ‘interculturality’
  4. evaluate diverse expressions of Christian mission from theological, cultural, and strategic perspectives, taking account of recent developments in missiology and interculturalism
  5. apply perspectives covered in this unit to the contemporary practice of mission and/or evangelism within a leadership setting.
