Learning Outcomes

At the end of this unit students will be able to:

  1. analyse the contribution of significant personalities and groups in the development of the Korean Protestant church
  2. evaluate the significance of theological issues that have shaped the development of Korean Protestantism
  3. interpret a wide range of primary historical documents pertaining to the development of the Korean Protestant church
  4. incorporate extensive research of primary and secondary historical sources into the development of a cogent historical narrative
  5. apply lessons learnt from history to observable current trends and future directions of the Korean Protestant church in Korea and abroad.
