Learning Outcomes
Upon the successful completion of this unit the student will be able to:
- Articulate a stewardship resource theology to the management of the not-for-profit entity (eg a local church, denomination, hospital, welfare agency, advocacy group, religious school etc)
- Identify sustainable income sources including fundraising, social enterprises, long and short term debt finance
- Prepare Budgets and Cash Flow Statements
- Prepare, analyse and interpret financial statements in recommending financial management decisions involving complex transactions
- Apply appropriate tools and systems in responsible financial management of resources, budgeting and reviews, including the application of the Auditing Standards and not-for-profit reporting.
