This field work unit aims to provide students with an in situ experience of cross-cultural mission as an introduction to a practical study of the dynamics of inter-cultural issues in a contemporary situation.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this unit students will be able to:
- Describe a number of key issues involved in a specific cross-cultural ministry;
- Explain the implications for ministry of the interrelationships of culture and gospel within that culture;
- Explain how some cultural elements in their own formation may need adjustments for effective cross-cultural ministry;
- Engage under direct supervision in a cross-cultural ministry experience;
- Apply insights gained from the field experience to a program for personal preparation for cross-cultural ministry.
