Advanced Skills in Professional Supervision
The unit Advanced Skills in Professional Supervision examines theories and models of professional supervision within a pastoral and/or ministry context. It provides practical training in the skills of professional supervision, enabling students to integrate what they learn through the supervised engagement of their own practice of supervision.

At the end of this unit students will be able to:
- demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the theories and models of professional supervision within a ministry context
- assess the ethical challenges inherit within professional supervision and determine applicable codes of conduct
- evaluate recent scholarship on professional supervision with reference to ministry contexts
- demonstrate skills in professional supervision through supervised practice within a ministry context
- integrate perspectives from the study of professional supervision into their current ministry practice.
