Advanced Practice in Pastoral Supervision
The unit Advanced Practice in Pastoral Supervision is designed to enable the student to integrate their ability to reflect on and evaluate their supervisory practice, particularly in the context of individual and group work, and to equip the student to act autonomously in a Clinical Pastoral Education Centre.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this unit students will be able to:
- Manage the interpersonal dynamics of individual and group processes
- Evaluate and justify their selection of candidates for a clinical pastoral education program
- Create a plan to educate students taking into account the students’ personal histories, psychological patterns, culture and learning styles
- Create a business plan for the establishment and management of a Clinical Pastoral Education Centre
- Formulate a personal philosophy of pastoral supervision.
