Manage your Candidature
As a research candidate you are expected to manage your candidature and ensure successful completion of your degree. Managing your candidature involves maintaining enrolment in the HDR course, informing the College and keeping on top of any changes to candidature, report progress milestones, submission and examinations.
Each semester, and at any other time considered appropriate, your principal supervisor will report on progress to the Research Committee using the Research Degree Progress Report. This provides an opportunity for candidates and their supervisory panel to monitor the candidate’s progress and ensure they are on track for timely completion.
If the Research Degree Progress Report describes the candidate’s progress as unsatisfactory and there is no advance within a semester, the Research Committee will ask the candidate to show cause why candidature should not be terminated.
