Important terminology
TPS – The ESOS framework provides tuition and financial assurance through the Tuition Protection Service (TPS). This protects international students if the Sydney College of Divinity is unable to deliver the course. It means that we as an education provider must have processes for refunds and placement into other courses or other institutions, in the event of non delivery of a course.
CRICOS – Education providers and the courses offered on a full-time basis to international students must be registered with the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). Sydney College of Divinity displays its CRICOS code on the individual courses.
CoE – International students on a student visa need to have a valid Confirmation of Enrolment – a document issued by the Sydney College of Divinity containing specific details relating to the applicant and course. This document is used to support your student visa application to Australia.
OSHC – As a holder of a student visa, you need to have an Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the duration of your stay in Australia.
