Admission Information

Admission Criteria – Undergraduate Courses

For undergraduate courses, normal entry is determined on the basis of academic merit – a completed Higher School Certificate (HSC), or equivalent, and the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) or equivalent (University Admission Index (UAI), Tertiary Entrance Rank (TER), Overall Position (OP), Grade Point Average (GPA), as well as an appropriate IELTS score for international students. The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) measures the language proficiency of people who want to study or work where English is used as a language of communication. It uses a nine-band scale to clearly identify levels of proficiency, from non-user (band score 1) through to expert (band score 9).

The entry requirements for the Sydney College of Divinity courses taught in English are set out in the following table. For detailed information look up the undergraduate courses.
